Later that night we had a friends get together up Muller Park Canyon. We had a fire and made tinfoil dinners and s’mores for dessert. We were all laughing so hard about everything. It was so fun to see everyone and get caught up on what everyone is doing. Heather and Ryan told us about their skydiving experience that they did for Ryan’s Graduation. They said it was such a blast and would recommend it to everyone. Lyndie is really busy with work, she is traveling all over and is hardly home. Julie and Jordan are enjoying the summer with going up to Pine View and boating with Julie’s Family. Everyone is doing good and we are happy that we got to see everyone!!!
This weekend Aaron’s whole family is coming to Utah to visit us for the 4th! We are very excited to see them and I’m sure I will have fun stuff to post about next week on things we did!

Aleisha's Broken

My little sister Aleisha had surgery in her bladder area on Tuesday and we went up to Primary Children Hospital to visit her. Aleisha was being so funny because she was so high on pain medication. If you know Aleisha, then you know that she loves to tell stories about what is going on in her life. Well it was 10 times worse with her being so drugged up. She would talk to everyone and everything and anything at a million miles per hour. I’m glad she was happy and not in too much pain that night. As of today, she is still in the hospital and they are still waiting to see how she is doing. She keeps having really bad muscle spasms in her bladder and not adapting to the pain medication very well. We hope that she will be able to come home today.
To tell you a little bit about why Aleisha had to go into surgery she kept getting bladder and kidney infections that would make her sick. In April she got really sick and never fully recovered from that point on. Aleisha would get better and then all of a sudden she would be really sick with 103 temperature. For a full month she was in and out of the doctor’s office. The Doctors just keep saying it was a bladder infection and then it was a kidney infection and then by the third time being really sick we knew something was wrong. Aleisha finally got tests taken and we found that her kidneys were misshaped and her tubes that lead to her kidneys were not working properly and they would have to go in and reconstruct her valves to her kidneys.
We love our little leish and hope she gets better soon!
It will take about 6 to 8 weeks for her to fully recover from the surgery.

The Rennaker Family

This weekend Aaron’s brother and Sisters were in Utah. Jacob moved down here for the summer and Bethany just came home from a mission from Argentina and decided to come down to visit us in Utah. On Saturday Bethany wanted to see the conference center so we went on a tour. That is the nice thing about having people coming from out of town because you do things you would not normally do. Touring the conference center was such a neat thing I could not believe we had never done this before. We were able to hear interesting facts about the conference center and see amazing paintings all through out the building. After the tour we went over to the Gateway and the Sidewalk Chalk Festival was going on. It was so busy it was hard to take a good picture, but I thought this drawing was really cool of Indiana Jones. We walked around the Gateway and then ate at Biaggi’s for dinner. We had a lot of fun hanging out with Aaron’s family and hope we get to see them all again soon.
One of Aaron’s favorite families from Spokane growing up was the Fisk Family and their daughter Karly was getting married in Utah. We went to the reception that night at the Market Street Grill in Cottonwood. Karly looked so beautiful and very happy. The Fisk’s are an amazing family and we were happy that we got to spend time with them.
By the time we got home it was 11:00 pm and I was so exhausted, I had been going since 7:30 that morning and was so ready for bed. It was a very busy weekend but very exciting!

On top of the conference center

Jacob was telling us that this was where Mary was buried, he is so funny!
